What is the Battefield Wallet Service?
The Battefield Wallet is an electronic service that enables individuals to perform electronic transactions. It is created for each customer with respect to their mobile number and name, and includes mandatory KYC details. Every transaction conducted through the customer’s wallet can be reviewed via the transaction history in the wallet.
How can I sign up for the Battefield Wallet?
You can easily register for the Battefield Wallet by providing your mobile number, name, and KYC details on the Battefield portal.
How can I protect my Battefield Wallet account?
The Battefield Wallet is the sole responsibility of the customer. To secure your wallet, please follow these guidelines:
- Do not share your OTP with anyone except authorized merchants.
- Never share your OTP over a phone call.
- If you receive an OTP for a transaction you did not initiate, immediately report it to customer care at [email protected].
- Always verify the beneficiary details before transferring money.
- Keep your personal information and passwords confidential.
Is the Battefield Wallet secure to use?
The Battefield Wallet is secured with advanced encryption technologies. Each transaction, including credit and debit, beneficiary additions, and other services, triggers an SMS notification. If you notice any misuse of your wallet, you can report it by emailing [email protected] or contacting the Battefield Nodal Officer directly.
What steps should I take if my phone is lost or stolen?
In case your phone is lost or stolen, immediately notify us via email at [email protected] or call the Battefield Customer Care number. We will block your wallet for security purposes. DO NOT STORE YOUR Battefield WALLET PASSWORD ON YOUR PHONE.
What are the methods to add funds to my Battefield Wallet?
You can add funds to your Battefield Wallet by visiting authorized Battefield outlets and paying in cash. Alternatively, you can also top-up your wallet via UPI or Debit card at the designated centers.
Is there a maximum limit on the amount I can load into my Battefield Wallet?
For fully KYC-compliant wallets, the monthly limit for adding funds is ₹49,500.
Does my Battefield Wallet account have an inactivity period?
If you do not use your wallet balance for 12 consecutive months, the funds will be forfeited. As per RBI guidelines, if the wallet remains inactive for 1 year from activation or the last transaction, the wallet will be blocked. You will receive an SMS 45 days before deactivation or suspension. You can either reactivate the wallet or transfer the balance to your bank account.
What happens if a transaction via my Battefield Wallet is unsuccessful? Will I receive a refund?
In case of a failed transaction, the merchant will refund your money immediately. For deemed failed transactions, you will receive an OTP, which you need to share with the merchant. Upon OTP confirmation, the merchant will return your funds.
What are the changes for using the Battefield wallet?
The charge for Domestic Money Transfer via Battefield Wallet is up to 1%.
